Frequently asked questions
Where is the furthest you will work?
We focus on work in the Golden Horseshoe area (Grimsby to Mississauga), but will quote work almost anywhere, literally. With that being said, travel time, potential room + board, and food costs can contribute to a quote where significant distance is required, which is always discussed with the client.
When can you start?
Start dates are based on a few factors; our booked schedule, the job size, and location. First, we always try to book projects start to finish, meaning that once we start a job we work consecutive work days until completion. With that being said, openings for new work are always after what we have booked. Second, sometimes a smaller job can be squeezed into our existing schedule. For example, if a client is looking for a small-scale planting, or mulch job, sometimes we can squeeze that in at the “end of our day”. Lastly, where the job is located is a side factor of our existing schedule and the job size. Our availability is always one of our conversation topics with new clients.
What happens if a project does not go to plan?
Communication is key between our management, site foreman, and client. If something ever comes up that is unexpected then it is up to the site foreman to discuss with his/her team and the client. For example, if when excavating the contractor comes across an old foundation that needs to be addressed, he/she will communicate with the client the issue at hand, the remedies, and they will make a decision together. We pride ourselves in strong communication and demonstrate that when needed and wanted..
